🥗 The Viking Food Pantry – We’re Here for You!

Whether you’re a student or employee at Big Bend Community College, the Viking Food Pantry (VFP) is here to make sure you have the essentials you need—no questions asked.

✨ What We Offer:

Weekly food boxes with up to 50 lbs. of groceries per household
Personal care and hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, toothpaste, etc.
Daily lunches or snacks for those who are in need of a boost
A clothing closet with gently used men’s and women’s clothing
Resource connections for on-campus and community support

🌟 Living in the Residence Halls?
Our VFP2 Satellite Pantry in Phillips Hall (Building 5000) is open after hours for students living on campus. Just contact the Resident Advisor (RA) on duty for access!

🥫 What’s in a Food Box?

Our boxes change weekly but often include:

Fresh & canned fruits and vegetables
Frozen & canned meats
Dairy products
Pantry staples (rice, pasta, cereal, etc.)
Baby supplies: diapers, formula, food
Personal care products

Note: Items may vary depending on availability.

⏰ Need Help After Hours?

Food boxes after hours? Visit the BBCC Library (Building 1800) or complete the Library Request Form for a “To Go” food box. (non-perishable items only)
Residence Hall Students: Contact your RA for access to VFP2 Satellite Pantry in Phillips Hall (Building 5000).

🔎 Good to Know

VFP is open to current BBCC students, staff, and faculty only (BBCC ID required).
We are not able to make deliveries.
We partner with the Moses Lake Food Bank and CARE of Moses Lake to better serve our community. To make sure resources are shared fairly and reach as many households as possible, we kindly ask that you choose either the Viking Food Pantry or the Moses Lake Food Bank, but not both.
