MOSES LAKE — The Big Bend Community College Foundation is excited to announce the 25th annual Cellarbration! for Education—the college’s premier scholarship fundraiser—taking place Saturday, March 21, 2026, inside the ATEC Building on the BBCC campus.

This year’s event invites guests to “Get Ready for a Roaring Good Time” with a glamorous, Gatsby‑inspired evening featuring fine dining, exceptional wine, and a full lineup of spirited fundraising activities. Proceeds directly support student scholarships and emergency assistance funds, helping BBCC students pursue their educational goals and overcome financial barriers.

The fundraiser has in part helped the BBCC Foundation award more than $620,000 in scholarship money to students in the last year.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Cellarbration! for Education, a tradition that has become the BBCC Foundation’s largest annual fundraising effort. Over the years, the event has provided vital scholarships and assistance to thousands of students across the college’s 4,600‑square‑mile service district.

“Every dollar raised at Cellarbration! has a direct impact on student lives,” said LeAnne Parton, Executive Director of the BBCC Foundation. “Our donors and community partners make it possible for students to stay enrolled, complete their programs, and build brighter futures.”

The evening will open with a reception and silent auction from 5 p.m., followed by dinner seating at 6:30 p.m. Guests can bid in person or online on a wide array of silent‑auction items, including wine, gift baskets, hotel stays, and fine‑dining experiences. Silent‑auction bidding closes at 7:30 p.m., giving supporters multiple ways to contribute to student scholarships.

There are only a few tickets left, but just because you’re not there in person doesn’t mean that you can’t participate in the Silent Auction Online. You can bid on items using your smartphone or tablet and track items or packages using the system’s “follow” feature. Both in-person and guests at the event can use this online bidding option.

The night will continue with the Wine Wall Drawing at 7:35 p.m., where participants can pull a cork for the chance to win any item from the Live Auction. Shortly after, the Almost Live Drawing will announce raffle winners and at 8 p.m., attendees can indulge in the Dessert Auction—an energetic bidding showcase featuring gourmet cakes, pastries, and other hand‑crafted sweets. The momentum builds into the Live Auction, offering exclusive trips, experiences, and parties with the night concluding with the Emergency Fund Raise‑the‑Paddle, giving guests a chance to directly support students facing emergency financial hardships.

There are only a handful of tickets left so get yours today!
